I have many years of expertise in submitting national R&D funding applications and have been involved in several projects in the European Framework Program for Research and Innovation (FP7 and Horizon 2020). Since 2017 I have been advising on funding for R&D projects and supporting Upper Austrian companies with the application process.

Before my time in industrial research and development, I worked as a molecular biologist in basic research for several years. I then gained 16 years of experience in industrial R&D. I was instrumental in the development of some in vitro diagnostic products from the idea to international approval and market launch. In addition, I have dealt with the patenting of the developments.
Together with my team of experienced consultants at Business Upper Austria, I have been successfully using my knowledge and experience for 7 years in advising companies on R&D issues, in particular on questions relating to R&D funding.
