Prior to the appointment, we analyse the transaction data you have provided. In particular, we take into account the provision of collateral, the taking out and repayment of crypto loans, accrued interest, debt tokens and any liquidations.
During the face-to-face video consultation, we will explain the tax treatment and the necessary recording using specific examples from your own transaction data. We will work through the journal entries together in CoinTracking and – to the extent possible within the agreed scope – implement them in practice. The aim is for you to subsequently be able to identify comparable transactions independently and document them consistently.
Please provide the following no later than five working days before the appointment:
• A CoinTracking export including transaction history
• Wallet addresses and the relevant Aave networks
• Relevant CSV files or blockchain transaction links
• Existing entries and specific outstanding questions
• Details of the origin and date of acquisition of the cryptocurrencies used
This service is aimed at private investors with more complex Aave or DeFi matters. It is based on Austrian tax law. The service covers the transactions submitted in advance and expressly agreed upon. A comprehensive review of all wallets, tax years or CoinTracking holdings is not included.

Als Mitgründer und Geschäftsführer von Validvent verantwortet er die Bereiche Krypto-Steuerbuchhaltung, strategische Beratung und Krypto-Vermögensverwaltung. Sein Fokus liegt auf der sauberen und prüfbaren Abbildung komplexer On-Chain-Transaktionen als Grundlage für belastbare Steuerreports und Verfahren.
Seit 2020 arbeitet er intensiv mit Blockpit und hat über 600 Krypto-Fälle betreut, darunter mehr als 400 im DACH-Raum.
